Mailbox Monday (26)

Mailbox Monday is a place for bloggers to gather to share the books they've picked over recent week. The is a traveling meme, and for the month of April is hosted by MariReads.

I actually meant to post this last week, but with the craziness of Easter and Passover that didn't quite happen. It does mean that I'm about 3/4 of the way through of it, and so far I'm really enjoying myself. It has to do with the murder of Thomas Becket, which as I've learned occurred during the time of Eleanor of Aquitaine. I have read books of this time period before, but they've mainly focused on Eleanor of Aquitaine, so it'd definitely fun to see another perspective.

What books did you find in your mailbox this weekend? And did the recent holidays, make you miss a blog post or two as well?
