I'd never heard of a Morning After Brunch but I think it's a terrific idea! Congratulations on your marriage!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea. I remember Dave and I went to Macy's to pick up some towels or something we needed for our new home and I felt so weird that we were married and no one there knew or cared!
ReplyDeleteWe did a day after brunch because most of our guests traveled to our wedding. It was fun to spend more time with them (and see who was hungover, hahahaha).
ReplyDeleteAww that's fun! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteMy mom hosted a brunch for family the day after, but the new husband and I wanted to get up, and head out to our minimoon. My family had a great time though, i think it's a fun way for everyone to relax and hang out :)
I have heard of a Farewell Breakfast (my sister had that), but they didn't open any of their gifts. I actually don't remember there being gifts brought to their wedding (I am sure there were, but I don't remember). This is a cute idea. I wonder if we could pull that off too or if we should just take the gifts home with us wrapped up. Hmm....decisions, decisions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up again!
I love the idea of the morning breakfast!
ReplyDeleteWe did a morning after brunch for our wedding and it was great. (although I was completely exhausted). I really enjoyed having some low-key time with our guests and, like you guys, we were the first ones there!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a morning after brunch! I think we may do one, too!
