Untitled

I spent the past weekend out in California. My grandfather passed away about 2 weeks ago now, and this past weekend was his memorial service. I can't quite find the words I want to say, so instead I figured I'd share a few of the pictures I have saved on my computer from the past few years or so.

  1. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandfather. That is so tough to go through. It's great that you have so many pictures of him. My grandpa passed away a year ago this past February. It was his birthday last Friday & I wanted to do a post about him w/ photos... yah I don't have any - at least not any digital ones from the last 5-6 years... I am so sad about that.

  2. I'm very sorry your grandfather passing away. I was very close to all of my grandparents and they were all still alive when I was in my early 20's. Then all four of them passed away within four years of each other. I know I'm lucky that I had them in my life for so long, but in many ways it made their deaths that much more difficult for me. I hope your mom is going okay and the rest of your family. It's nice that you have so many great pictures with him.

  6. Oh, I'm so sorry Shoshana. It's hard to lose your grandfather... I lost mine this past summer and you can't find the words to describe how you feel. Just now, I feel like I could write about my feelings but honestly, they are still too raw and complex.

Take care of yourself and think of the good times.
