Happy New Year! It's crazy to think 2014 is behind us and we're at the start of a new year, especially when so much happened and we've had such big changes in the past 12 months. I've definitely had some years recently where things have been a little rough, but for me 2014 was pretty amazing. But that doesn't mean I'm not hoping for better in 2015! Before we look too far ahead, here's a look back at my 2014.
We spent a week in
California visiting my family.
I survived the Louisiana
ice storms.
We found out
I was pregnant and that we'd be expecting a baby in December.
We went to Friday night of
Bayou Country Superfest and saw Chris Young, Reba McEntire, and George Strait in concert.
I spent the weekend in Houston and saw the
Backstreet Boys in concert.
We spent a week in
Orange Beach, Alabama.
We celebrated
our niece's 7th birthday.
I spent a weekend in California celebrating
my BFF's 30th birthday.
The boy and I celebrated our
2nd wedding anniversary.
I celebrated my
30th birthday.
I had
maternity photos taken.
We celebrated
our nephew's 5th birthday.
I attended my
baby shower,
as well as a second one
at work.
We brought
our daughter into the world.
We celebrated our daughter's first
Hanukkah,
and first
Christmas.
