Project 365: Days 1 Through 7

Back in 2013, I took a photo everyday for a Project 365. I was pretty impressed with myself that I managed to pull it off, but by the end of the year was so over it. As 2014 began I couldn't imagine doing it again, except by the end of the year I started to miss it and decided I was going to go back to it in 2015.

Last time the majority of photos were of food. This time I have a new, living, breathing subject to take pictures of. I actually have taken a photo of my daughter every single day that she's been alive at this point, so these photos could all easily be of her. But I'm trying to branch out a bit as well, so while the majority will be her, there will also be a good bit of food again, plus a few random photos. Which you can definitely see in this first week alone.

First Walk

Finally Calm
For an additional photo of the day, this is what she looked like a few minutes later. Much calmer and a lot less red. Of course as soon as we approached a group of kids playing towards the end of our walk she started screaming again. So I'm not so sure I'd call it a successful trip.
January 7, 2015 - 7/365: Asleep in the Rock N Play.

  1. Oh, I can't wait to follow along this year with your Project 365! What an exciting subject you have, although I'm looking forward to other pictures as well :)

  2. You have the perfect Project 365 subject! What awesome timing to start doing another one as you will be taking millions of photos anyway :)

And I love your purple plates! I am shamelessly obsessed with the colour purple!

  3. She is too cute!! The open mouth sleeping is too funny.

  4. Aw, I love the photo of her passed out on your chest - so cute! It is a good thing you live in a warmer southern state as you would not get to take stroller walks here what with our -10 to -30 windchills we have had this week! I bet this challenge will be a lot easier this year with a cute subject to photograph. :)

  5. I'm so jealous that you guys are able to get outside. It's freezing here!

  6. Love all the photos of your adorable babe! That one of her passed out on your chest just cracks me up in the sweetest way!
