27 Weeks Bumpdate

27 Weeks
How Far Along: 27 Weeks

Size of the Baby: A head of cauliflower

Maternity Clothes: Yesterday I actually discovered that the seam on one of my new pairs of maternity pants is starting to pull out. Plus one pair of my maternity jeans has a small hole in the belly band. So I guess it will be interesting to see which clothing items actually make it through.

Nursery: We finally registered this weekend. I do still need to add a lot to it online, but it's at least been started. And if you have any suggestions for must-have registry items, please let me know.

Stretch Marks: Still none here!

Sleep: This past weekend both myself and the boy were wide awake a 3am due to the worst leg cramps I've had so far. Thankfully they haven't come back, and hopefully that stays that way.

Movement: It's getting the the point where several times a day I have pain in random parts of my stomach from the baby kicking or stretching or something. It's not the biggest of deals, but definitely is a pain to deal with.

Cravings: We did make it to Which Wich this weekend to meet that craving again, so hopefully I'm good with any Which Wich craving for the next few weeks.

Symptoms: One of the weirdest things is that some of the moles on my stomach are stretching out. Yet they aren't really getting bigger, instead they're getting lighter as the pigment gets spread out. Definitely not something I was really expecting.

What I Miss: Again, not too much I can think of here.

Looking Forward To: I'm not quite sure I can say I'm looking forward to it, but my glucose screening is next week, so hopefully I'm able to pass which means I won't have to worry about changing my eating habits at all.

  1. Aw, you look so great! I hope that the glucose screening goes well so you don't have to worry gestational diabetes. My sister and sister-in-law both had that with theirs and while it's not the biggest deal, it just makes things more complicated as you really have to watch what you eat!

  2. You look wonderful! When it comes to the things you need, I remember when my girl was a baby (she just started high school, sob!), we went through burp cloths and wash cloths like crazy. You can never have too many of those...especially if you're too tired to do the laundry every day.
