Husband-Coached Childbirth by Robert A. Bradley, M.D.
I recently read and enjoyed another book on the Bradley Method, Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way (Review to come!), and I decided one more book on the topic couldn't hurt. Especially knowing it's a book on the Bradley Method written by Dr. Bradley, well you know it has to be well-informed. Plus this updated version was published in 2008, so hopefully it feels updated, which actually was my biggest complaint with the last one.
What did you find in your mailbox this week?
I've actually heard of this method because of "19 Kids and Counting." Interesting to hear another opinion on it.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly the one! I believe my mom actually used the Bradley Method when she had me and my brother, but it's probably through the Duggars I'm most familiar with it.
DeleteI'm not familiar with the method but it's been a while since I had a baby! I hope you find this edition helpful!
ReplyDeleteOh boy- years for me having babies too. Hope you find the books interesting. Is your weather starting to cool in LA? I hope you have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteThis one should come in handy! Hope it works out for you...and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteGood luck :) Is your partner going to read it too?
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this method either but, like Mary, it's been quite a while since I was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteHope you get a lot out of this book! Sounds like you will be well prepared for childbirth :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful pregnancy.

Enjoy. I found it was good to be prepared and informed, but also open minded once labor started!
