Project 365: Days 285 Through 290

Zephyr Field
October 12, 2013 - 285/365: Last week the boy played in a baseball tournament at Zephyr Field, which is the minor league stadium in New Orleans. It was kind of crazy being in high a huge stadium with so few people, but was a lot of fun.
Feta, Olive, Roasted Red Pepper Pizza
October 13, 2013 - 286/365: This is feta, olive, and roasted red pepper pizza. Maybe not a normal choice, but basically my favorite way to order pizza.
Gingerbread Cliff Bar
October 14, 2013 - 287/365: I'm not normally a fan of Cliff bars, but this was delicious. Although I think the pumpkin pie version I had the week before was even better.
Holiday Catalogs
October 15, 2013 - 288/365: I feel like such a little kid getting excited over holiday toy catalogs coming in the mail. I used to adore the HearthSong catalog growing up and am a little obsessed with the idea that I've made it onto their mailing list.
White Flowers
October 16, 2013 - 289/365: White flowers in the backyard.
Braised Beef Tips
October 17, 2013 - 290/365: Braised beef tips with a balsamic glaze and mushroom risotto for dinner.

Do you have a favorite catalog to receive in the mail?

I'm linking this post up with Random-osity & Kleinworth & Co. for Project 52!

  1. I love receiving book catalogues in the mail - two of my faves come from Melbourne and they have some wonderfully quirky books in them that I just don't see in the shops here. I also like the Persephone Books Biannually. Unfortunately most of my others come via email, which just isn't as special!

    Your mushroom risotto looks delicious!

  2. You're not the only one. I get excited too when receiving catalogs in the mail!

  3. Tis the season to get catalogs! That cliff bar sounds amazing, I miss them since I had to go GF in college, but the Z bars are fine and I think even tastier!

  4. ok, if you were at zephyr field, you were literally 15 minutes away from my house. for real. LOL
