Another week has ended, but more than that, another year of my life is over since I celebrated my 29th birthday. Here's to the last year of my 20s!
October 5, 2013 - 278/365: I accidentally broke my normal coffee cup, so I've been using this one instead. This one is actually a gift from the boy for our first Valentine's Day together, back in 2007.
October 6, 2013 - 279/365: For our anniversary, I bought the boy a Big Green Egg, which is smoker and grill. It's supposedly Bobby Flay's favorite, and I can't wait to see all the delicious food it helps to create!
October 7, 2013 - 280/365: My car finally hit 100,000 miles! More amazing is that I've had my car since 2001, and this just now happened.
October 8, 2013 - 281/365: A co-worker's birthday is a week before mine, so halfway in between there were cupcakes to celebrate both of us.
October 9, 2013 - 282/365: Our confederate rose bush.
October 10, 2013 - 283/365: I could barely believe it, but google actually customized my doodle.
October 11, 2013 - 284/365: I think the last of the Campbells soups for me to try. The one was Chicken & Quinoa.
Did you know google was able to customize your google just for you? Until this week I didn't, and at first was awfully curious as to whose birthday they were celebrating.
I'm linking this post up with

how do you do that google thing? so cool!
ReplyDeleteNo idea! I'm guessing it came up because I have my birthday located in my blogger profile? But was completely surprised to see it show up.
DeleteHere's to your first 29th birthday! I've never held to turning 29 for multiple years myself - happily in my 30s - but I understand some do... Hope you had a great one.
ReplyDeleteNice smoker! We are on our second one here as my husband loves smoking things. We've never done the "eggs" though - and I'm curious as to the differences now.
I love those Campbell Go Soups!! I've been using them to cook salmon every day. So yummy!
ReplyDeleteI got that from google last year on my b-day - slightly stalkerish, but fun! The big green egg must be a Southern thing - never hear about them here!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a Southern thing, more like a BBQ thing. I hadn't heard of them until the boy mentioned it. And even know don't really know much about it. He hasn't used it yet though, but I'm excited to see it in action!
DeleteHappy Birthday! Enjoy the egg - I've been to a few barbeques where they used it and the food was delicious!
