Size of the Baby: An avocado
Maternity Clothes: I did wear a pair of new maternity pants yesterday, but even so was asked how I still managed to fit in my pre-pregnancy clothes by a friend whose pregnant and less along than I am. So I guess that's a plus. Although I did admit to her that they were actually maternity.
Nursery: Still no progress here.
Stretch Marks: Still none.
Sleep: It's pretty much back to normal.
Movement: Still none.
Cravings: I could really go for a bean & cheese burrito from Taco Bell. Which is funny in a way since I can't remember the last time I had one before the pregnancy. But since I've been pregnant I've already been there twice, and will likely be there later this week.
Symptoms: None really, although brushing my teeth gets me about once a week or so. Also I actually had a the mardi gras salad at Voodoo BBQ recently, and almost got sick over a piece of off-texture mango.
What I Miss: Waking up on a weekend and making a coffee in my Keurig. Although I have made hot chocolate in it as a substitute, but it's not quite the same.
Looking Forward To: I'd love to feel the baby move especially since everyone seems to asking me about it lately.
6 Weeks ~ 7 Weeks ~ 8 Weeks
9 Weeks ~ 10 Weeks ~ 11 Weeks
12 Weeks ~ 13 Weeks ~ 14 Weeks
15 Weeks
I bet in the next few weeks you will start to feel the flutters. I think I was around 17 or 18 weeks, but still didn't really know what it was. Not until after 24-25 did I realize they were actually baby.
ReplyDeleteThat's what everyone keeps saying, that you probably won't notice them at first. Which makes sense. But still... I'm more than ready! Ha!
DeleteI hope you can feel the baby move soon!
ReplyDeleteOne of my SILs was able to wear her regular pants until around 20 weeks because she is pretty tall. I don't know how tall you are, but you look tall in photos so maybe that will be the case for you? I think you are looking great!
I just started wearing maternity pants this past week(week 18). I still fit into my others but the maternity are much more comfortable for me at work.
ReplyDeleteI felt the flutters starting around week 17. Barely perceptible but there for sure. :)
That's just it, maternity clothes are so much more comfortable. Yes, I can still make it into some items, but they don't fit the way they used to. But I don't want to spend all my time in maternity clothes since I'm sure several months from now I'll be completely over them!
DeleteI wore regular clothes with Sam until 16 weeks (I didn't have them earlier since I got them from my SIL) and then with Rachel I was wearing them at 9 weeks! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I remember definitively feeling Sam move around 19 weeks. Rachel I felt a little earlier but that's only because I knew what I was feeling then.
You look great! I just packed up my maternity clothes the other day! I haven't worn them, but were still hanging in my closet...I was also a late show-er, and was in regular clothes until about 20 weeks!
ReplyDeleteAh, feeling the baby move was my favorite part of pregnancy :) Your bump is very cute :)
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! Glad it's going so well :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I can definitely see the bump starting to grow when you post all those pictures side by side like that. So exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I am 16 weeks too and could swear I felt some flutters this week but I'm not 100% sure.. cant wait until its more obvious movement!
