Guardians of the Galaxy
I've loved Chris Pratt ever since he was on Everwood, so knowing that he was in a superhero movie, well, I obviously wanted to see it. And given the fact that it was a superhero movie, the boy was excited for it as well. Definitely one we could agree on.
Overall I really enjoyed the movie, but it did feel a little long though. (Or maybe it's more I was a little tired sitting in the theater.) I did feel like it took a while to figure out where everything was going, but things did start to come together. I love all the main characters, especially how unique each was.
I feel like this was a really fresh take on a superhero movie, and I'm excited to see where the series goes. Knowing it's from Marvel and Disney you know there's going to be at least two more movies, and I can't wait to see how their story continues.

We saw this twice over the weekend. I would see it again. I loved all the 80's references. I don't mind seeing Chris Pratt's ripped body either.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this one! Definitely the first Marvel movie that made me cry, haha.
ReplyDeleteI know, right?!? I started tearing up a little during the first scene as well.
DeleteYou guys didn't cry during 'Thor: The Dark World' after what happened to Frigga?!
DeleteYea, I really really dug this movie. It was a great addition to the Marvel universe and I can't wait to see more! (And to see it again!)
ReplyDeleteWe saw this and really liked it!
ReplyDeleteI saw this today. There were a couple of times I looked at my watch, but really enjoyed the characters, especially Rocket. I'll be back for more.
ReplyDeleteI loved 'The Avengers' but I just can't get excited over this one. Maybe I'll change my mind once I see it - I do love Zoe Saldana.
