Except it was already the middle of January at this point, and I had wanted to send out save-the-dates in January, and I still hadn't designed the card itself. I was planning on having my mom help me design the actual card, which basically means I wanted her to do it. Except the end of 2011 didn't go as planned, to put it mildly, and here I was without a card and without my mom.
I know I could have designed a card looking the way I wanted at this point. But I was freaking out about timing, and to be honest just didn't feel up to it at the time. I wasn't a huge fan of just sticking a card in an envelope, but to preserve my sanity that's that I had to do at this point.
They date have a larger magnet that used the same one as my mini-magent, but that one needed 3 pictures. Since I only had 1 engagement photo it was back to finding one I liked just as much. I went and designed two more larger magnets that would be big enough to mail on their own, that I could basically stick in an envelope.
I hope you went for the last one. It is the one I like the best! HA
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great with what you got, and your Mom would be so proud!
I got mine from Magnet Street - they turned out perfect! I love all three of these. Did you go w/ the last one?
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I am thinking you went w/ the last one?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the last one- the design just looks a little more your style to me.
ReplyDeleteThey look great! Good job! I was not design savvy enough to do my own save the dates!
ReplyDeleteI will guess the last one as well :)
EIther one I think they look great! I bet it's the second one though!
