The Vow
Like everyone else seemed to, the boy and I went and saw this one for Valentine's Day. I know there's been a lot of people unhappy with the ending, but I'm not completely sure why, since I actually liked the ending. Not it isn't a Nicholas Sparks perfect fairytale ending (or really his or more like the obsolete with a heartbreaking ending), but it made sense and I thought it worked.
The boy wasn't a huge fan, but maybe not for the reason you'd expect. He couldn't help but feel for Channing Tatum's character, in that he had to do all the work to get her to fall in love with him not once, but twice.
If you haven't seen it yet, you probably should, if only because this way you'll know what everyone else is talking about. It's definitely a movie I'd love to own, and I'd also love to read the book which is written by the actual couple who went through this.

I loved the ending too! I thought it was perfect and couldn't figure out why people were upset either. I just finished the book that the real couple wrote and it was really good, I definitely recommending it.
ReplyDeleteWow I didn't know an actual couple went through this and that's what the movie is based on. I thought it was based on a fictional book. I definitely really want to read the book now!
