This post is actually a long time coming, but officially we have our photographer, and actually have had since the end of October. I actually found her suggested on the Weddingbee boards, and she was in fact even a featured vendor on the Weddingbee blog.
SourceWhich brings us to the name, our photography will be provided by Sabree Hill Photography. We met for the first time back in August, and coincidentally she's "From L.A. to LA" as well.
SourceConsidering the quality of her work, and the price of her packages, she's an amazing deal compared to so many of the other photographers I researched.
SourceHer main packages include an edited CD of high resolution images, which you then have the rights to use, which is something important to me, because how else will I be able to share all the amazing images here?
SourceShe also includes an upgraded package with a full album. I realize that the photographer's album is something that a lot of people pass on. But I love my professional Bat Mitzvah album, and I can't imagine not having something similar for my wedding as well.
SourceIt seems silly now, but initially one of my requirements from a photographer was having a blog where I could easily see pictures from a variety our weddings throughout the year. Except Sabree Hill doesn't have a blog, and as crazy as it may sound I thought about finding someone else for that reason alone. I guess just because I'm a little obsessed with blogging doesn't meant that everybody associated with my wedding needs to be as well.
SourceDid you wind up reconsidering your priorities when booking a photographer? And because why not, here's a few final photos to get you excited for what ours will hopefully look like.

Those are some fantastic photos. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on booking your photog! I am actually flying in a photographer from Philadelphia who I originally met through blogging! I've always been a HUGE admirer of her photographs and emailed her for destination wedding pricing assuming it would be way out of my price range, but it wasn't, it was actually really comparable to local photographers even with her travel costs. Plus she will now be shooting the rehearsal dinner, the full wedding day shoot and possibly a day after shoot if we feel like it so I think we got a good deal! And I am a HUGE fan of her work. I think having a good photographer is soo important. I know people who have skimped on photography and really regret it later!
ReplyDeleteHer pictures are GORGEOUS so I think you've chosen well! When I was married, our photographer ended being awful and I HATED our pictures. Now, of course, it doesn't matter, but that was always a huge regret of mine!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for you to share yours;)
This is awesome! They sound amazing and their photos are gorgeous! I can't wait to see your pictures of your big day!
ReplyDeleteThose photos are gorgeous! I am so glad you found a talented, reasonably priced photographer! And I can't wait to see the pictures from your wedding!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finding your photographer. That was one of the most important and, in turn, stressful parts of wedding planning for me. We ended up finding an amazing New Orleans photographer and our pictures turned out great.
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad you found someone with great pics & good prices! The cd of images is always important to me, too.
ReplyDeleteHer photos look lovely! I can't wait to see how all of yours end up looking!
