27 MonthsYou're 27 months old! Or really 2 and a quarter years old.
December 30You weigh 22 lbs and 1 ounce (0.99%ile). You're wearing mainly size 18 months clothes and size 6 shoes. You wear size 4 diapers, although we are in the midst of potty training.
January 2You really have become a true person, with quite a strong personality. I know my last update I said you weren't talking in complete sentences yet, and that's hard to believe because you talk so well. There are times where pronouns confuse you (saying things like "I want Mommy to carry you,") but overall you talk just like anyone else would.
January 24You have a crazy memory and can recall a surprising amount. The other day you came home from the grocery store and started listing off all the things you couldn't get. Or if we tell you something at night, you'll ask for it the first thing when you wake up.
February 5You surprise us some times with the things you say, like when you told me, "Mommy's Shoshanah," or when you said your first and last name together. You know your colors (at least most of the time), can identity left from right (again, at least most of the time), know your shapes, and love counting.
February 12Your favorite tv shows are ABCD (Wheel of Fortune) and Elena (of Avalor). When we go out to eat you either ask for chicken and french fries or chicken and fruit. You love cheese, to the point we have to limit it or you'd eat an entire block.
February 25At night when you go to sleep you have a whole menagerie of animals keeping you company. There's Po (your hippo), animal (a seahorse), rabbit (a sock rabbit my mom had sewn), a giant monkey, and four or so books. Your daddy normally puts you to sleep ending each time with reading
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and
Goodnight Moon.
March 3You're still a little unsure about your brother. Don't get me wrong, if you see him crying you'll make sure he has his bebe, or you'll give him hugs and kisses. But you aren't a fan of Mommy or Daddy holding him when you want our attention and have no problem telling us, "Put Bear in his bed!"
March 10Honestly, you've become so much fun and spending time with you can be a blast. I will end this post by mentioning that you've started saying "Love you," which is the most awesome thing and sounds so incredibly adorable coming from you.

She's tiny! My kids used to say "hold you" when they wanted to be held and Zachary used to say "my cold" or whatever instead of "I'm cold." lol.
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a little peanut! My niece is also small for her size. She's 3 and weighs around 25-28 pounds I think? Good things come in small packages, though!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds like such a bright, sweet little girl. Love her comment about putting bear to bed, though! Ha! The girl wants her attention clearly! ;) I just love it when they get to the point where they are stringing words together and amazing you by what they remember!!
She is precious!
