7 Months Update

7 MonthsYou're 7 months old!

April 24Or at least you were, 3 weeks ago. But you still haven't hit 8 months yet, so I'm not completely late.

May 4You weight 13 lbs 0.5 ozs (0%ile). You are 26.4 inches (18%ile).

May 11You wearing primarily 6 months clothes and size 2 diapers.

May 13But most importantly, you're on the move! You'll crawl, or technically army crawl, from one end of the house to the other, especially if you're following someone from room to room. And when you get close you'll literally crawl onto a foot and hold onto someone pants leg in hopes of getting them to pick you up. You're able to sit without worry, although normally when sitting will move into a crawling position, but you can't yet get yourself up.

May 14Your favorites toys are pretty much anything your sister is playing with. But that seem to love her Minnie Mouse puzzle the best taking all the little pieces out, her Magna Doodle, and various pieces of fake food.

May 20Speaking of food, while you're getting better, you're not quite there. I think part of it is that you want so badly to eat what everybody else is, but you can't quite manage it. We did try out Cherrios, and while you seem to enjoy them, need to have someone feed you bite after bite. As for new foods we'd attempted, there was pancakes, hummus, mashed potatoes, peaches, pickles, and of course a french fry or two.

May 20Once again, I'm in awe of how quickly time is flying by. Especially when I realize I'm going to need to start planning your first birthday ASAP to make sure I have enough time.
